A sour and dry, strong cocktail, shaken over ice, served in a coupe glass.

Ingredients
- 1 ozdry gin
- 0.75 ozblood orange liqueur
- 1 ozblood orange juice
- 0.25 ozrich syrup
- 2 dashorange blossom water
- iceoptional
How to Make a Red Opal
Instructions
- In a shaker, combine all the ingredients with ice.
- Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
- Strain the mixture into a chilled glass.
Garnish
Express orange zest twist over the cocktail and use as garnish.
Tips & substitutions
- No orange blossom water? Try rose water.

Serve this one in a coupe glass. Also known as Champagne Coupe or Champagne saucer. Fancy looking glass invented in the mid 17th century in England.
