- Fashion a snowman using an exceedingly small carrot and some raisins.
- Shake the ingredients together and carefully pour the cocktail around the snow.
- You may need a spoon to chop the ice like you would a snowball in summertime.

Tips & substitutions
- No bourbon? Try whisky or scotch.
- No lemon juice? Try lime juice.
The glass
Serve this one in an old fashioned glass. The old fashioned glass or rocks glass is a short tumbler used for serving spirits, such as whisky, neat or with ice cubes. It is also normally used to serve certain cocktails, such as the Old Fashioned, from which it receives its name.
Did you know
Created by Mark Adams, an artist with a taste for creating, staging, photographing and drinking interesting and vintage cocktails. I have been waiting for a big snowstorm to make tonight’s cocktail and we finally had one last night. The cocktail calls for a large scoop of virgin snow. It is a riff on a Bourbon Slush that I call Frosty’s Demise. You could use finely crushed ice if you live in a more temperate climate. It is a bittersweet cocktail and rather sad, staring down at the melted remains of dear old Frostys.
