Ingredients
- 1 ozgin
- 0.5 ozamaretto liqueur
- 6 ozalmond milk
- 1.5 ozheavy cream
- 1 ozMelted Dark Chocolate
- marshmallowsoptional
How to Make a Gin & Amaretto Hot Chocolate
Instructions
- In a saucepan, combine your milk, cream, and melted chocolate (use 50 gr of cocoa powder instead if you don't have chocolate).
- Heat the mixture gently over low heat for about 15 minutes, making sure to stir constantly to prevent the milk from scorching.
- Once your hot chocolate is steaming and ready, pour it into a mug.
- Add the gin and amaretto and give it a quick stir to mix everything together
Garnish
Decorate with marshmallows.
Tips & substitutions
- No gin? Try vodka, tequila or white rum.
- No amaretto liqueur? Try almond liqueur, coffee liqueur or chocolate liqueur.
