Missionary's Downfall Cocktail

A sweet and tropical, medium-strength cocktail, shaken over ice, served in a collins glass.

Ingredients

  • 1 ozwhite rum
  • 0.75 ozlime juice
  • 0.5 ozpineapple juice
  • 0.5 ozpeach liqueur
  • 12Mint leaves
  • 0.5 ozhoney syrup
  • 1Pineapple wedgeoptional
  • Crushed iceoptional

How to Make a Missionary's Downfall

Instructions

  1. Add the mint leaves and simple syrup to a cocktail shaker and gently muddle.
  2. Add the white rum, lime juice, pineapple juice, and peach liqueur to the shaker with ice.
  3. Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds.
  4. Strain into a Collins glass filled with crushed ice.

Garnish

Garnish with mint sprig and a pineapple wedge.

Tips & substitutions

  • No lime juice? Try lemon juice.
  • No honey syrup? Try simple syrup, agave syrup or maple syrup.
