How to Make an Autumn Mule

Instructions

  1. Muddle the pear with the granulated sugar in a shaker until the juices are released and it's somewhat pureed.
  2. Add the remaining ingredients and give it a short hard shake.
  3. Double strain into a Collins glass filled with ice.
  4. Top with ginger beer.

Garnish

Decorate with a slice of fresh pear.

Tips & substitutions

  • No rye whisky? Try scotch, bourbon or whisky.
  • No italian hazelnut liqueur? Try italian hazelnut liqueur, amaretto liqueur or irish cream liqueur.
  • No lemon juice? Try lime juice.
