A spicy and nutty, medium-strength cocktail, shaken over ice, served in a collins glass.

Ingredients
- 1 ozGautier Cognac
- 0.5 ozrye whisky
- 0.5 ozFrangelico
- 0.5 ozlemon juice
- 3 ozHalf a pear
- 1 pinchGranulated sugar
- 2 ozginger beer
- iceoptional
How to Make an Autumn Mule
Instructions
- Muddle the pear with the granulated sugar in a shaker until the juices are released and it's somewhat pureed.
- Add the remaining ingredients and give it a short hard shake.
- Double strain into a Collins glass filled with ice.
- Top with ginger beer.
Garnish
Decorate with a slice of fresh pear.
Tips & substitutions
- No rye whisky? Try scotch, bourbon or whisky.
- No italian hazelnut liqueur? Try italian hazelnut liqueur, amaretto liqueur or irish cream liqueur.
- No lemon juice? Try lime juice.
