Ingredients

  • 2 ozwhite rum
  • 1 ozlime juice
  • 1 ozblood orange juice
  • 0.5 ozsimple syrup
  • 5Mint Leaves
  • 2 ozsparkling water
  • 2mint sprigsoptional
  • iceoptional

How to Make a Blood Orange Mojito

Instructions

  1. Muddle the mint into a cocktail shaker.
  2. Add rum, simple syrup, juices and some ice.
  3. Shake well and strain into a highball glass with ice.
  4. Top with sparkling water.

Garnish

Decorate with mint sprigs and a blood orange slice.

Tips & substitutions

  • No lime juice? Try lemon juice.

Serve this one in a highball glass. Tall and narrow with straight or slightly flaring sides, the highball glass is used to serve highball cocktails and other mixed drinks. A highball glass is taller than an Old Fashioned glass, and shorter and wider than a Collins glass.
