Ingredients
- 1.5 ozSpring44 Mountain Gin
- 0.75 ozlemon juice
- 0.75 ozdragon fruit syrup
- 3 ozsparkling water
- iceoptional
How to Make a Dragon Fruit Collins
Instructions
- In a cocktail shaker with ice add all the ingredients except the sparkling water.
- Shake well and strain into a glass filled with ice.
- Top with sparkling water.
Garnish
Decorate with a lime wedge.
Tips & substitutions
- No gin? Try vodka, tequila or white rum.
- No lemon juice? Try lime juice.
The glass
Serve this one in a collins glass. A collins glass is a glass tumbler which typically is used to serve mixed drinks, especially Tom Collins or John Collins cocktails. It is cylindrical in shape and narrower and taller than a highball glass.
Did you know
Don't walk past the dragon fruit. Their odd look belies a delicate sweet fruit, high in vitamins. And that color! If you want to get your own shots I recommend muddling some fresh dragonfruit and pouring that in the bottom of the glass, then adding ice and the rest of the ingredients so you can get the dramatic gradient :) just stir before enjoying!
